El Instituto Toda por la Paz y el Instituto Kroc de Estudios Internacionales sobre la Paz de la Universidad de Notre Dame, EE. UU., organizaron conjuntamente un taller titulado \u00abTecnolog\u00edas deliberativas, democracia y consolidaci\u00f3n de la paz\u00bb. Celebrado en la citada universidad de Indiana del 24 al 27 de junio, el taller form\u00f3 parte del programa \u00abRedes sociales, tecnolog\u00eda y consolidaci\u00f3n de la paz\u00bb del Instituto Toda. Estuvo dirigido por la investigadora principal Lisa Schirch y cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de acad\u00e9micos y representantes de ONG y empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas de numerosos pa\u00edses, que debatieron sobre c\u00f3mo las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas deliberativas podr\u00edan reducir la polarizaci\u00f3n, para fortalecer la democracia y la cohesi\u00f3n social.<\/span><\/p>\n
